Nandi Hills Member of Parliament Alfred Keter has renewed his fight against the Deputy President William Ruto.
The vocal MP now claims if DP Ruto becomes president, other Kenyan tribes will hate the Kalenjin community.
In a post on his official Facebook page on Saturday, the rebel Jubilee legislator said he will go round the country warning Kenyans against electing Ruto as President Uhuru Kenyatta’s successor in 2022.
“I will go round the country warning Kenyans that if they elect him, they should not associate the consequences of his leadership to the Kenyan nation,” reads part of Keter’s Facebook post.
The two-time legislator further revealed that DP Ruto had called him over the 2022 general election.
“Recently I asked him because he called me saying I have started intimidating his 2022 presidential ambitions. I told him my prayer is for you not to become one, other Kenyan tribes will hate us the Kalenjin saying we are thieves,” he noted.
Keter had earlier in the day said similar sentiments when he attended a function in Rarienda constituency, the political bedrock of opposition chief Raila Odinga.
