After weeks of political exchanges with his rivals, especially those from Deputy President William Ruto's camp, COTU boss Francis Atwoli is back with inspirational quotes.

Atwoli has over the past three weeks involved in a bitter verbal exchange with Malindi MP Aisha Jumwa.

However, on Saturday, he sought to give advise to fellow Kenyans, reminding them that some people will always be there to erect hurdles on their paths.

He said that rivals will always be there to make their lives difficult by putting in the effort to ensure that they don't reach their destinations and realize their goals.

However, according to the vocal trade unionist, one's life is one's own responsibility, and it's upon them to decide how to react to the attacks from rivals and critics.

He has encouraged Kenyans to make the right decisions at such times, considering that their are the architects of their own lives.

"Some will throw stones in your path. It depends on what you will do with the stones. Buod a wall or a bridge? A wall to isolate yourself or a bridge to connect you with success. Remember you are the architect of your life," he wrote on Facebook.

Since 2016, Atwoli has also been seen to fully engage in matters politics and has gone ahead to even declare Amani National Congress (ANC) leader Musalia Mudavadi the Western Kenya kingpin.

He is currently pushing for a referendum to among others, allocate President Uhuru Kenyatta another slot after his 2022 retirement and also expand the executive.
