Ganze MP Teddy Mwambire has taken to social media to respond to a picture doing rounds on social media of Mangororo Primary pupils seating on bricks in their classroom as they are marooned by water following the ongoing heavy rains in the area.
In his Facebook post on Thursday, the MP revealed that there are more than 30 schools in Ganze, Kilifi county, that are experiencing more than what Mangororo experiences.
Mwambire wrote that the plight Ganze schools experience is because of mistakes committed by his predecessor, adding that the constituency is yet to receive the 2018/2019 National Government Constituency Development Fund (NG-CDF) allocation.
“I have a big problem in Ganze. Schools such as Mangororo are unlucky because they will experience the same for long,” wrote Mwambire adding that, “even the 2019/2020 NG-CDF allocation has been planned for the unfinished projects initiated by my predecessor.”

The ODM MP noted that the unfinished projects would require approximately Sh65 million, and appealed to Kenyans to shun the criticism and join efforts with well-wishers to forge a way of getting the needed resources to help the situation.
