Road accidents have claimed the lives of many people, both young and old, the rich and the poor.
Recently, a grisly road accident in Kericho claimed the lives of over 50 people, while survivors sustained serious injuries.
However, when an accident happens, it doesn’t matter who you are.
Both ordinary Kenyans, leaders, and celebrities perish in road accidents.
Here are five celebrities that perished in road accidents:
1. Ayeiya
Ayeiya used to be a great deal at Churchill Show.
The late comedian had a large following due to his rib-cracking jokes and style of jokes.
However, he perished in a road accident near Catholic University in Nairobi.
This was a great loss for Churchill Show.
2. E-sir
E-sir was a hit name in back in the days.
He was a great artist whom many loved due to his style of music and his soft and touching sound.
However, he perished in a road accident in 2003.
3. Bishop Ben Bahati
Bishop Bahati was a renowned evangelist of Eldoret's Global Field Evangelism. However, his life was short lived after being involved in a road accident around Burnt forest. He was airlifted to Nairobi for medical treatment but he didn’t make it.
He left a legacy that many will live to remember.
4. Derrick Amunga
Did you watch the famous local TV show dabbed Tausi? Well, for those who watched this drama show, you must have heard of Master Sugu. Derrick Amunga aka Master Sugu was run over by a car. He was later discovered dead by his family and friends.
5. Nana Gichuru
Nana was a famous actress based in Nairobi.
However, her life was cut short after being involved in an accident in Utawala estate in Nairobi.
This left most of her fans heartbroken and in disbelief.
