A section of Nakuru youths have condemned Bahati MP Onesmus Kimani Ngunjiri for staging demonstrations in Nakuru town over President Uhuru Kenyatta’s sentiments in Mombasa.
Addressing media in Nakuru on Tuesday led by Nakuru youth chairman Daniel Gitau Kimani, the youths slammed the Bahati legislator for ‘misusing’ a number of youths during the demonstrations in the streets of Nakuru. While noting that they support the President’s Big 4 agenda, the youths called on politicians to stop politicking and support Uhuru in achieving the same.According to the Nakuru youth leadership, the President is not to blame since the MPs are the law makers and have all the solutions to the development agenda in the country.“We should not blame the President because the MPs are the laws and policy makers. They should also tell us how many projects they have initiated under their dockets,” said Gitau.Bahati MP Kimani Ngunjiri had on Tuesday launched the ‘Washenzi’ movement in Nakuru saying it will help pile pressure on President Uhuru Kenyatta to bring back the love that existed between him and his deputy William Ruto.Speaking when he led a peaceful walk in Nakuru town, Ngunjiri said that as Jubilee members from the larger Rift Valley region they will not just sit back and watch as the President is being ‘mislead’ by opposition leader Raila Odinga.Ngunjiri alleged that Uhuru is not himself and that he has been ‘poisoned’ by Raila who he termed as a trouble maker.“Let him remember how Ruto stood with him when those people were taking him to The Hague and let him read the bible and stop betraying Ruto,” he said.
