Education CS Amina Mohammed has said there is no leakage in KCSE examinations.
Amina expressed confidence in the government’s systems, procedures, and regulations in administering the ongoing examinations.
She said as the candidates sit the exam on the third day, she is convinced that the government has carried out credible exercise in administering this year's KCSE.
“We have tested the systems, regulations, and procedures which we have put in place and they are working. We are satisfied, students we have spoken to are happy,” Amina said.
The CS addressed the press after she supervised KCSE examination papers' distribution at Athi River deputy county commissioner’s offices in Mavoko, Machakos County on Wednesday.
Amina said the candidates are satisfied that they are sitting the same exams, at the same time under same conditions without favoritism.
“There is total satisfaction from the candidates, there are no complaints,” she added.
She said though there have been a few hitches and issues here and there during the exams period, they have been able to arrest the situations in good time.
"Our children deserve no less. People have been arrested. No exams have been exposed,” Amina said.
She arrived at the deputy county commissioner's offices at 5.30am.
She opened the KNEC's container at exactly 6.00am.
The CS supervised the examination papers' dispatch, an exercise that lasted for close to an hour before she visited St. Augustine's Mlolongo, Mavoko, Star Sheikh, and Kyumbi secondary schools for examinations monitoring.
