Critics of Governor John Nyagarama may find difficult times in the near future if they dwell on certain issues that do not go well with the system, the government has warned.
In the recent weeks, the ODM governor has been under immense criticism over 'sluggish development' with a section of locals accusing him of failing to fulfill some of the aspirations of devolution.
But through County Secretary Erick Onchana on Thursday, Nyagarama accused county residents of being insensitive on some of their criticism.
"We know as a government that we have done good things but not to the expectation of all people.
"That is why we have to give room for criticism but that does not give room for people to keep on criticising my government without a good reason to do so,” he said on behalf of the county boss.
Some of the issues that have caught the county government on the receiving end include ballooning wage bill which stands at 65 per cent with irregular promotions and recruitment also identified by the Auditor General.
But according to Nyagarama, his government has rolled out implementation of County Integrated Development Plan adding that most projects will launched this year.
"We can't satisfy everybody but we are headed there. The CIDP will be implemented to the letter and spirit. That's an assurance. We however have to minise criticism to avoid embarrassing consequences."
