The Director of Public Prosecutions has been asked not to forget Nyamira County in graft war.
Nyamira Senator Eric Okong'o argued that corruption is at the peak in Nyamira and therefore, the law should take its course.
"DPP should pitch tent in Nyamira county as well to arrest corrupt individuals diverting public money meant for development into their own pockets. Nyamira people are not enjoying devolution because few people are pocketing development funds," said Mogeni.
The ODM party allied senator said it is only the DPP who will clear the mess at the devolved unit.
According to the vocal senator, Nyamira County boss has been 'pocketed' by some individuals who engage massive corruption.
Okong'o reiterated that development may not be realized in Nyamira because a section of county workers are accumulating wealth by stealing public money.
"I'm begging the DPP to come to the rescue of Nyamira people. Governor Nyagarama alone will not end graft because most of the people stealing are his close allies, relatives and friends," said the senator.
He commended the intensified war on corruption across the country adding that the war must be taken to every county.
