Kisang'au said the county is busy fishing on agricultural aspects to ensure they have something to exhibit not only to Kitui residents but the country at large next time.

"We won't hold an agricultural show in Kitui, there are things that need completion before we embark on it there's no need to hold a show where we won't have anything to show," Kisang'au said.

He addressed the press at his office in Kitui on Thursday.

Kisang'au said the Kitui government is making plans that will boost agriculture in the county.

He said the county will be ready to hold a mega agricultural show next year.

Kisang'au said the products and exhibitions will be mainly from Kitui County.

"Next year and the coming future, we will hold a big agricultural show since we would have made necessary plans to ensure it's successful," Kisang'au said.

Makueni County held its agricultural show last week while the Machakos one is currently ongoing.
