Given that Ongwae has been going through torrid political moments of youths rioting and closing down Kisii-Oyugis road and nurses putting down their working tools, KUPPET teachers through their leader Laban Ouko now wants the county government to do something in haste to salvage the condition along Kisii -Oyugis road to enable learners to have a conducive studying environment.

Ouko said that there are more than 14 schools along the road and have been adversely affected by the dust. The teachers and students who are allergic to dust ate really getting hard time to carry on perfectly in the normal school routine activities.

“As KUPPET we are concerned with the state of the road since it has affected more than 14 schools bordering the road. It is a challenge really affecting the teachers and students who are allergic to dust. We want to call upon the government and concerned agencies to talk to the contractor so that he can go back to the site and clear the mess.” Ouko said.
