A man is nursing serious injuries at Ramula Sub County Hospital in Homa Bay, after he had his genitals crushed after being busted red handed with another man's wife.
Okello, a resident of Lower Kodhoch Sub Location, was attacked by an irate mob after being found sleeping with the wife if his friend in Upper Kodhoch on Monday night.
The friend, Onyango, who works in Mombasa was reportedly notified of the ongoing affair between his friend and his wife, but kept calm while planning his moves to nab the two.
He reportedly returned home earlier than expected after deploying a villager to monitor the movements of his wife and the victim who is a bodaboda rider.
He left Chabera trading center where he had been hiding at dusk and headed for the village on a motorbike and alighted a few hundreds of meters away and completed the journey on foot.
He found the two on the act, on his matrimonial bed, before locking them in the house and alerting neighbours who arrived to witness the incident.
Onyango later opened the door, giving the crowd a chance to the crowd which landed on Okello crushing his genitals and breaking his hand.
The incident was confirmed by Lower Kodhoch Assistant Chief Charles Dete who said that Okello's health is improving after the encounter.
“It is true the incident occurred in a different sub location but the victim comes from my sub location. Medical practitioners have assured me that his health is improving,” he told the Standard.
