Imagine on Friday you went out with your friends, had fun and got home late at around three. The next thing to happen to you is to nurse a hangover, the whole of the next day, you can always avoid a hangover and just go about your business as if nothing had happened.
It is a hard thing but you can easily manage the hangover by taking a number of fluids. This is important because you will be restoring the fluids lost as a result of dehydration caused by alcohol. The drinks to take include:
Plenty of water
As earlier stated the body loses a lot of water as a result of alcohol consumption, the simplest way to replace the lost water is through drinking fresh water. Additionally, the water does not irritate your stomach and will make sure that the body has the required levels of fluids when you wake up.
Drink fruit juice
Blend your own fruit juice, fresh fruits have vitamins and minerals that you lost through urine as a result of drinking. Additionally, fruits have a type of sugar called fructose, it is important for the functioning of the liver that is responsible for cleaning your “mess”. The fruit juice will help you back to your normal self.
Drink ginger tea
I know you are already complaining “why would I take that stuff, I am not pregnant,” relax! Ginger tea is taken by pregnant women to suppress nausea and vomiting. This will be very important to ensure that you don’t feel like you want to puke the whole day. It is the medicine you need.
It is important to know that other drinks can also be important, but avoid coffee, soda or other drinks with caffeine, sip water once in while throughout the day, you will be fine.
