Gatundu South Moses Kuria has revealed his running mate in the 2022 presidential race.
Kuria, who has announced his bid for the top seat, said he will be deputized by Fred Matiang’i.
Matiang’i is the current Cabinet Secretary for Interior.
He is considered President Uhuru Kenyatta’s golden boy in the cabinet, as well as his, Mr Fix It due to his no-nonsense approach to issues.
Speaking in Nyamira where he joined Senate Speaker Kenneth Lusaka and area legislators for a funds drive for Nyanturago Catholic Church, Kuria revealed his political game plan.
“I am assuring you that your son (Matiang'i) who is now the Prime Minister will be my running mate in 2022 and you know very well that in Kenya, it's only me and him who does not tolerate nonsense and we will make things happen in the country,” the controversial MP said.
Kuria said he is a front runner in the race due to his ‘tough’ character which is needed to fix issues affecting the country.
Interestingly, Democratic Party (DP) – which Kuria unveiled as his party for the presidency – dismissed his candidature.
