Kibwana has been severally seen interacting with his electorates freely without discrimination.

He says parting with the public is one of his hobbies.

Kibwana has maintained that public life is that of serving the people you lead effectively.

"Public life is that of service, it is missionary work. I enjoy sitting, talking and walking with our people. When I leave public life, I will dearly miss this aspect of my public political life," Kibwana posted on his official Facebook page.

Some of the Makueni residents seem not to have enjoyed the governor's leadership to the fullest since they do not want him to retire from politics.

Kibwana ventured into politics in 2002 when he was elected as the Makueni MP.

He was later elected as the first Makueni governor in 2013.

The governor's re-election in 2017 shows how the people of Makueni love his leadership.

Despite the challenges he faces as a leader, it seems he enjoys his life more by interacting with the locals, this has earned him a good image.
