Kiambu Governor Ferdinand Waititu on Wednesday, August 15, made a crucial phone call to Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko after his wife Susan Wangare was arrested alongside 14 other people.
Wangare is accused of erecting a building in the city without the requisite approvals.
The phone conversation in which Waititu was pleading for his wife's release leaked and was shared on various social media platforms.
The video recording has since elicited mixed reactions among Kenyans, with a section of them including comedian Jaymo Ule Msee taking up the phone call challenge.
In the conversation, one man can be heard pleading for his girlfriend and side chicks to be released from a bash.
