Four suspects who work at the farm were on Monday nabbed by area police over allegations of stealing 10 crates of eggs valued at Sh2,500 at the expansive farm in Turbo constituency.

Weda now says that just like Ruto's allies have been detecting mischief in everything touching on the DP lately, President Uhuru Kenyatta will soon have to shoulder the blame.

The commentator noted that the theft might soon be used as a weapon against Uhuru and his new friend and opposition leader Raila Odinga, alongside leaders allied to them, in the name of attempts to victimize the DP.

"People will soon start linking this to politics and claiming that the handshake team is finishing Ruto. Claims of the government undermining the DP are very likely to emerge soon" he said.

Weda was speaking on KBC English Service's The Big Conversation on Wednesday morning.

The theft was confirmed by Eldoret West OCPD Zacharia Bitok who said that the four, two men and two women have been arrested and will be arraigned upon the conclusion of investigations.

"All the workers denied knowledge of the missing eggs and the manager started a search and discovered that the four suspects had hidden the crates in one section of the farm," he told the Standard.

Ruto and team have remained opposed to the Uhuru-Raila closeness, with his allies repeatedly claiming that the two have ganged up against him.
