Speaker Moffat Teya over the weekend called for Monday's special sitting in which nominated MCA Irene Sese tabled motion against removal of Mrs Momanyi, who is accused of abuse of office and gross misconduct.

She is the second executive to face the motion within two months after Bernard Osumo of Public Service Management was subjected to a similar motion.

While Osumo got a temporary reprieve by Labour Relations Court, Mrs Momanyi vowed to face the motion on Sunday in an interview.

"I have done nothing wrong. This is just malicious. I am ready to face them. I have diligently done my work and nobody will hoodwink me," she said.

Bomwagamo MCA Charles Barongo on Sunday hinted that three more ministers would face impeachment, adding that the assembly is keen to bring sanity.

"We are targeting three more. We can't have ministers who run the government without consulting. They must also return the misappropriated money," he said.

In her motion, Ms Sese accuses the long serving minister of violating of the law in bursary scheme among other charges. If passed, the minister will face a probing committee.
