Ex-Bonchari MP John Opore has raised concern over the poor allocation of CDF bursaries.
The ex-lawmaker while speaking in Suneka on Sunday condemned the current MP John Oyioka for locking out several students.
"We can't afford to continue condoning impunity in Bonchari. How comes students whose parents were my supporters were locked out in the bursary allocations while peanuts were allocated to others? It is high time the MP should stop discriminating constituents," he said.
Opore who served for 15 years as the MP insisted that Bonchari residents should be served equally.
He appealed to residents not to keep quiet because Oyioka may take advantage of their silence to continue offering poor services to the people.
"Residents should stand up and demand answers as to why other students were allocated Sh40,000-50,000 while others were allocated Sh8,000. CDF funds are public funds which should be utilized wisely," he noted.
According to Opore, Bonchari leadership is on bad hands.
"There will be no development in Bonchari if the current MP will not change his tune and serve the people irrespective of how they voted during the 2017 polls," he added.
