Another woman alleging to have been in a romantic relationship with embattled Nairobi businessman Joseph Kori has emerged.
Grace Wangari becomes the fourth woman to associate herself with the man now facing possible murder charges after the killing of his wife Mary Wambui three weeks ago.
Wangari claims she met Kori in 2007 and one thing led to the other before they got a son, but the man would later leave him to go hustle and has never seen him until 2012.
A week ago, another woman Grace Wanjiru came out to claim that he was Kori's first wife before he left her for his deceased wife.
Also in the circle in Judy Wangui, the woman the prosecution believe collaborated with Kori to eliminate Wambui.
She is believed to be the man's mistress and a jealous woman.
Wangari who was only 20 at the time when she met Kori while working as a stewardess at a restaurant near the Nairobi-Meru stage says that she doesn't believe that Kori participated in the murder.
"I don’t believe he participated in the killing,” she told the Standard in an interview.
She added that their son has been suffering and at times forced to skip school due to lack of fees and disease.
“I don’t remember at any point seeing him angry. What I can’t believe is that he has always been living in Nairobi with all that money as his son suffers,” she added.
Meanwhile, Kori and Judy and Githae Mathenge, a taxi driver, will spend nine more days in police custody after Kiambu Senior Principal Magistrate Stella Atambo rules as such.
This was following a request by the prosecution on Wednesday.
