Speaking to the BBC Swahili Service Wednesday night, the outspoken Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) legislator said he had advised Wine to join forces with Kiza Besigye in order to remove President Museveni from power.

"Youths across the continent should unite against bad leadership. I told my brother when he was here that he should join forces with Besigye in order to remove President Museveni," Babu Owino said.

He added that it would be difficult for the youths to rid themselves of bad leadership without unity.

Bobi Wine was in Kenya for the better part of last week thanks to an invitation he recieved from the Embakasi East MP.

The Kyaddondo East MP has relentlessly criticised the Museveni administration over what he calls its 'dictatorial tendencies'.

Museveni has been in power for over three decades and is expected to run in the next general elections following efforts by Uganda's parliament to remove obstacles that may prevent him from contesting the presidency.
