Detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) have arrested two employees of tropical promoters which offers trolley services at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA).

In a tweet, the DCI noted that the two had stolen thousands of dollars from a passenger, but did not explain how it all happened.

"Mr.Kennedy Ochieng, 22yrs and Mr.Kevin Ogega, 25yrs; both employees of Tropical Promoters- a company that offers trolley services at JKIA, were today arrested by detectives for stealing thousands of dollars belonging to a passenger. All the cash recovered after search," DCI tweeted.

The affected company is yet to issue an official statement regarding the incident.
