The NARC-Kenya party leader on Tuesday filed a petition at the Court of Appeal in Nyeri challenging High Court's decision to dismiss her case against Waiguru.

Justice Lucy Gitari of Kerugoya High Court previously dismissed the case twice on various legal grounds.

Justice Gitari first trashed Karua's petition on November 15, 2017, terming it as hopeless, defective and incurable.

The petitioner moved to the Court of Appeal and obtained orders for her case to be heard afresh but lost the case on June 14, 2018, after Gitari said the petition lacked merit and ordered Karua to pay Sh5 million as civil damage costs.

After filing her appeal yesterday, the 'Iron Lady of Kenyan politics' vowed not to tire seeking justice.

Her move left Kenyans divided as some told her to quit while others encouraged her to press on.

Here is a sample of reactions:

Nicholas Murungi posted: "Martha, please preserve that energy for your own health. You lost long ago in 2013 when Uhuru needed you."

Petty Nyaguthii said: "I wish Karua can win this case against Waiguru."

"My friend Hon. Martha Karua is a lawyer and was once a Magistrate and a Minister of Constitutional Affairs. She cannot just be fighting aimlessly. There is more to it," said Njoroge Wanjeri C'aptain.

"Please use that money to help the needy," urged Titus Njuguna Niane.

Martin Ndung'u remarked: "Stop wasting your time to Waiguru. You can't win that battle."

"Iron Lady give Ann moments to work for Kirinyaga people," said Martin Gitonga.

Wanjiru Gatehi urged: Accept and move on my fren!"

Beatrice Mutiembu posted: "Something is wrong somewhere with this two "gals".

"I respect madam Karua but let it go," urged Paul Karachia.

Kanja Wanjiru had this to say: "Martha GO HOME you are too idle get a life."
