An MP elected who was elected on a Kenya National Congress party ticket has said he has no doubt his constituents will re-elect him in 2022.
Speaking on Wednesday during an interview at Egesa FM, Sylvanus Osoro, the South Mugirango constituency MP, said his good track record will see him re-elected in 2022.
"I have not slept on my job since the people of South Mugirango elected me on August 8, 2017. I'm working around the clock opening feeders roads, improving infrastructure in schools, churches, paying school fees for needy students through the CDF kitty," said the lawmaker.
Mr Osoro said should his rivals continue concentrating on propaganda they will not beat him in 2022. He confirmed that he has not closed the doors of his office for rivals.
"Rivals are free to engage me and suggest on the projects we will work on in the constituency to boost the living standards of constituents," said Osoro.
The legislator appealed to constituents not to keep quiet whenever he goes wrong.
"I won't be rude to my employers who woke up early in the morning to vote for me," he added.
