Speaking to journalists in Kathiani Town on Sunday, Ndeti said that Sharon’s murder was painful and her killers must never walk free.

The former MP said that the student and her unborn baby did not deserve to die.

“Police detectives must do everything and make sure that all those involved in the student’s murder are arrested and taken to court,” she said.

The Wiper politician said that the country is crying for Sharon’s justice.

“We want to see culprits being taken to court and being given harsh sentences,” she said.

The former MP further said that Kenyans will have confidence in the police if they unravel those behind Sharon’s murder.

She said that the country has witnessed many mysterious murders involving university students.

“Perpetrators of these heinous murders should be hunted down and brought to book,” she added.

Investigations into Sharon’s murder are ongoing with police said to have quizzed 12 suspects.

An autopsy report released on Friday revealed that Sharon was stabbed eight times and died as a result of excessive bleeding.

Migori Governor Okoth Obado’s Personal Assistant (PA) Michael Oyamo is among suspects in police custody.

On Sunday, Director of Public Prosecutions Noordin Haji warned politicians against speculating on the investigations.

He said his office will take action against those implicated once the probe file with watertight evidence is forwarded to him.
