Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Chairman John Mbadi on Tuesday took Gatundu South Member of Parliament head on live on TV after he claimed he is no longer in power.
Kuria had alluded that Mbadi is not aware of the hidden card in the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) because he has been overtaken by Suna East Member of Parliament Junet Mohammed and Homa Bay Woman Representative Gladys Wanga.
He also said that he believes in Mbadi but he wants him back at the centre of power in ODM.
"John Mbadi is saying there is no hidden agenda but it is common sense that John Mbadi is no longer in power in ODM. You know Junet Mohammed and that clique there of Gladys Wanga and I really have confidence in John Mbadi. I really want to wish that he gets back to the mainstream of ODM. Some things need to be brought into perspective. He is the chairman of the party he is reigning but he is not ruling but that is a different issue altogether," Moses Kuria said in part.
In a quick rejoinder, Mbadi said that he has paved way for other leaders to take over some matters.
He argued that he only steps in when things ran out of control.
The legislator further said that he has been in politics long enough to engage in sideshows.
"First of all, Moses Kuria should know ODM is a very organized party. And we know who plays where and when things are smooth, you do not expect people like Mbadi to jump around and about. And I have to allow other people who are coming, who are growing. I am serving my third term in parliament. I am mature enough and now I have to create space for other people," John Mbadi responded.
