Uasin Gishu deputy governor Daniel Chemno has hit out at businessman Zedekiah Bundotich alias Buzeki for ditching Jubilee, and joining Chama Cha Mashinani.
Chemno noted that Buzeki's move was ill intended, terming it a political suicide.
"How can you come out of the Standard Gauge Railway (SGR) which has two engines and is very first, and enter into a vehicle with no tyres, no engine? In fact, it's not even a car, but scrape, and you are telling us to board that can't happen," Chemno said during the Madaraka Day celebrations at 64 stadium on Saturday.
Buzeki recently ditched Jubilee party for Chama Cha Mashinani, citing frustration from people who are close to Deputy President William Ruto.
Chemno, however, noted that the reason why Buzeki ditched Jubilee was because he feared being defeated in the 2022 polls.
"Wananchi should not be misled by such self centered individuals. Since Jubilee party is the party that Uasin Gishu residents support, the party leading the government, it will lead the country for the next 100 years," said Chemno.
