Celebrated comedian Eric Omondi has been on the receiving end of critic and tinge support after posting a photo of embattled Citizen TV anchor Jacque Maribe’s son online.
Eric Omondi took to His Facebook and Instagram walls to share an uncaptioned photo of Jacque’s son touching his mother’s portrait on the wall.
Rumors have been going around that Kenya’s funniest man could be the father of Jacque Maribe’s son. Eric Omondi and Jacque Maribe, now Joseph Irungu’s fiancé were dating back in 2014.
After posting the photo, netizens flooded his Facebook and instagram walls with comments full of sadness, pity and hope.
Netizens sympathized with him while at the same time trolling Eric Omondi for remaining silent regarding the rumours.
However, other fans came out to applaud him for standing with Jacque during her hard times. Jacque Maribe is currently being remanded at Langat'a Women's Prison.
