An elected MCA allied to NASA coalition in Kisii County has differed with 'lazy' Bonchari MP John Oyioka over his plans to relocate Ngeri Youth Polytechnic. '
Vincent Moisabi Ariemba, Riana ward MCA said the MP's proposal to relocated the Polytechnic from its current location won't work.
"It is now crystal clear that Mr. Oyioka is becoming lazy and sleeping on his job. There is no way he can propose to relocate the institution without involving the host villagers. I am urging him to stop his ill plan and focus on equipping the institution to boost learning," said the ward rep.
He said it will not be business as usual if the MP will insist on relocating the institution.
"The legislator will get it rough if he tries to relocate the polytechnic. All we need as people of Riana is the polytechnic to be well equipped with learning materials and practical instruments for learners to get proper skills," said Moisabi.
The Wiper Party MCA called on locals not to accept the MP ill plan but, instead, stand firm to ensure the institution structures is improved to accommodate more youth.
He urged the MP to ensure there is an equal distribution of resources across the constituency.
