Wambua claims that Kenyans have lost faith in President Uhuru's Cabinet owing to the alleged graft scandals involving some CS's.

He argues that the current Cabinet has failed to champion development and service delivery to Kenyans.

Speaking when he toured Tharaka Ward in Kitui County on Monday, the former News Editor said sacking the entire Cabinet is the only solution to tame rising graft in government.

He said the President has to act and save his legacy before 2022 polls.

"The President should consider sacking his entire Cabinet if he wants to make an impact and succeed in the fight against graft," Wambua said.

Wambua said there are competent Kenyans who can hold Cabinet slots and perform better.

He said it is worrying that some Cabinet Secretaries have been adversely mentioned in graft scandals.

The Kitui senator asked the CSs who are being investigated by Director of Criminal Investigation (DCI),  Director of Public Prosecution (DPP) and Ethics and Anti Corruption Commission (EACC) teams to  step aside in the interest of justice and allegations facing them.

However, Wambua also asked politicians to stop politicizing the war on graft.

He said no community is being targeted, adding that those implicated should carry their own individual cross.

Last week, President Kenyatta through an Executive Order sacked Sports CS Rashid Echesa.
