Kenya's Zoo Kericho had a day to remember on Wednesday after they were recognized by Italian giants AS Roma.

Through their Twitter account, Roma posted on their daily 'Twitter Team of the day' column about Kericho, lauding them on their effort to grow both on their social media presence and in terms of football. 

"#ASRoma’s Twitter Team of the Day are Kenya’s very own @zoofootballclub. Known as Zoo FC, they only entered the Kenyan Premier League in 2017 and despite having just just under 2,000 Twitter followers, they're winning new fans every day on social media," read the tweet.
