Controversial lawyer Miguna Miguna has claimed that United Kingdom High Commissioner Nic Hailey assisted President Uhuru Kenyatta to rig the 2017 general elections.
In a tweet on Sunday, the Canada-based lawyer said that Hailey and US Ambassador Kyle McCarter have no moral authority to speak about the new currency.
He insisted that the two envoys have been behind several dirty deals in the country. He asked them to ensure that the lost billions in mega scandals that have rocked this nation are returned before they make comments on the new currency.
“Both the UK High Commissioner Nic Hailey and US Ambassador Kyle McCarter are stretching their jokes too far. To begin with, Mr. Haile is a paid Jubilee Party political operator and lobbyist who helped Uhuru Kenyatta rig the 2017 elections. Second, both ambassadors should REPATRIATE Goldenberg, Anglo-Leasing and other proceeds of crimes to Kenya, first, before shouting about the "new" currency,” he tweeted.
The controversial lawyer has insisted that the idea of introducing the new currency doesn’t make sense. He believes that the currency will not add value to the economy of this nation. He also believes that Uhuru has not done much to transform the economy of this nation.
