Nyaribari Chache MP Richard Tong'i ,while speaking at Nyabururu Parish, said it is shameful for women to continue walking 'naked' in the community.

"I am urging women wearing miniskirts to church to stop because it is disrespectful to wear short clothes. The church is not a prostitution hub for women to sell their beauty," he said.

The lawmaker argued that women wearing short clothes tempts men including those preaching the gospel.

He challenged parents not to allow their children more especially daughters to wear clothes which will expose their body parts such as thighs.

"Now that schools are closed for long December Holiday, I am appealing to parents to be on high alert to ensure their daughters doesn't engage in sex trade. Our bodies are the temple of God," he added.

The MP urged local chiefs to work around the clock to curb cases of school going children attending night discos in deep villages.
