Female Rapper Fena Gitu was on Tuesday excited to the seat beside Raila Odinga, whom she described as all-time most successful politician in the country.
Gitu shared a photo of her with the ODM leader in a Nairobi-bound plane, and later posted that she sat next to 'most powerful man of the time'
“For a few hours in my lifetime, I sat next to one of the most powerful men of our time. What a humbling, dumbfounding... Mind blowing experience," she wrote.
Fena, one of few female rappers in Kenya, is known for her debut hits such as Sema Ng’we, Doing Her thing Thou. She was returning from Accra where she'd gone for a concert.
Mr Odinga had also wound up his Africa tour in his official capacity as AU Infrastructural Development boss. He left Kenya for DR Congo on Friday where he stayed for two days.
"As Africans, we need to expedite the integration of our continent through infrastructure, in order to promote economic growth and sustainable development. This was at the heart of our discussion as I wound up my tour with a visit to President Nana Akufo-Addo in Accra," Odinga said after Accra tour.
Earlier, Mr Odinga had visited Niger on Monday. He discussed with President Mahamadou Issoufou on ways to improve trade across Africa. He was accompanied by his son Raila Odinga Junior.
"Held talks with President Mahamadou Issoufou of Niger on the African Continental Free Trade Area, the Inga Dam as well as the open skies agreement. We also discussed the upcoming AU summit in Niamey," he noted.
