Kuria argues that the changes would unite all Kenyans and ease the taxpayers' burden by allowing equitable distribution of resources to all regions in the country. This, he says, will, in turn, lower the cost of living.

Addressing members of the public at Likia area, Nakuru county, Kuria said he supports the idea of changing the law.

He expressed his desire to meet the committee that advocates on the building bridges initiative between the opposition and ruling party in making a country one united nation.

“I support the referendum. We need equitable distribution of funds to all counties. I will give my views on what should be changed to the building bridges committee,” said Kuria.

He also called on Kenyans to embrace the unity between the opposition party and ruling party to allow the government to work extensively throughout the country.

He also believes the amendments to the law will also bring to an end political tensions witnessed in the country after every five years in elections.
