A short video showing controversial gospel artist Alex Apoko popularly known as Ringtone being approached by uniformed security guards has surfaced online.
This comes moments after the ‘Pamela’ hitmaker claimed on his Instagram account that he had been arrested by police for causing confusion.
“PRAYERS PLEASE🙏🙏🙏Is it crime to look for wife???? Why are police arrested me while am leave @cooperativeuniversity Karen. THEY MUST RELEASE ME. Eti am prostituting and causing confusion (sic),” apost on Ringtone’s Instagram account read.
The video which was uploaded by Mimera TV shows at least three security guards approaching the singer while he was holding a placard at the entrance of Cooperative University in Karen. The institution has, however, not issued any official response to the matter.

Ringtone has in the past few days been searching for a wife using a placard on the street. The placard bears Ringtone’s photo and a bold title that reads; "LOOKING FOR A WIFE". The singer is looking for a woman who is God fearing, prayerful, hardworking and humble.
