Narok Senator Ledama ole Kina has now dared Kinoti to put Deputy President William Ruto behind bars as the fight against graft gains momentum.

He said that the DCI should fight the vice without any form of fear or favour.

Speaking in Kilgoris town on Tuesday during the funeral of the Daniel Rudisha, father to David Rudisha, the world 800 meters record holder, Kina said that the DCI should cast his net wider so that he can arrest the big fish including the second in command.

"This is because we saying the DCI should do his job if it is the Deputy President arrest him. Do not be intimidated in any way," he said.

Ledama also said that Ruto is unreasonable to claim that nobody has died because of hunger. He insisted that Ruto doesn't care for the people of this nation.

DP Ruto, who is considered one of the front runners in the race for Presidency has been hitting headlines following the alleged loss of Sh21 billion in the dam scandal and Weston hotel, Nairobi.

Ruto has maintained that no single coin has been lost in the course of implementing the project in question. Africa Union High Representative on Development Raila Amolo Odinga has asked Ruto to come clean on the alleged corruption in the government.

The two have been firing salvos at each other following the revelation.
