Kisii Governor James Ongwae, who is perceived to be a close ally to Raila, said Ruto should blame his allies in the ongoing divisions in the ruling party.

"Ruto should know Raila has nothing to do with the divisions which has rocked the party. It is time he should blame his close allies who are unhappy with the war on corruption," said Ongwae at Nyantaro village, Nyamira county where he joined the family of Kisii County Director of Human Resource Duke Ongechi to mourn his daughter Joan Moraa who succumbed to spinal cord cancer.

The county boss asked DP Ruto to accept the handshake between Raila and his boss President Uhuru Kenyatta.

"Ruto has found it hard to accept the handshake which happened and has since seen Kenyans living in peace. I wish to urge him to ask his allies to accept the handshake failure to which more divisions will be witnessed in the ruling Jubilee party," he noted.

Ongwae said his administrations is in support of graft war. He also asked politicians to allow independent institutions execute their duties.
