According to Nakuru Town West MP Samuel Arama, for the DP to fulfill his political ambitions, he should emulate former President Daniel Moi in his political strategies if he is to outsmart his rivals.

The vocal lawmaker further suggests that Dr Ruto should stick with the Jubilee Party and fight his political enemies from within, instead of quitting for a new outfit.

“I suggest Ruto sticks in Jubilee and do his work as he plans for 2022 in silence. He should keep his cards close to his chest,” said the Jubilee MP as quoted by the Standard.

Arama's comment came a week after the Jubilee house was literally lit following former Vice Chairman David Murathe's  statement that Dr Ruto should retire with President Uhuru Kenyatta in 2022- the statement which triggered his (Murathe's) resignation from the ruling party.

It remains unclear whether the DP will follow the lawmaker's advice or if he has other plans in his bid to succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta come 2022.
