Prof. Paul Chepkwony

He is the governor of Kericho County and the chairman of the Council of Governors’ (CoG) Education, Gender and Sports committee. Prof. Chepkwony is an alumnus of Kericho High school. He holds a bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Jomo Kenyatta University (JKUAT) and masters of the same from the University of Nairobi (UoN). Governor Chepkwony is also a PhD holder in Organic chemistry from JKUAT. 

Dr Joyce Laboso

She is a first-term governor of Bomet County. Laboso might have been happy to accept education at the time when the Kalenjin community did not value education for the girl child. She holds a bachelor's degree in Education (Arts) from Kenyatta University. She also holds a masters degree in Teaching (English) as a foreign language from the University of Reading in the United Kingdom (UK). In 2006, Dr Laboso graduated with a PhD in Gender and Language Education from the University of Hull, UK. 

Prof. John Lonyang'apuo. 

He is serving his first term as the governor of West Pokot County. Lonyangapuo is a Graduate of the University of Leeds, UK (PhD in Applied Mathematics). He also holds a bachelor's degree in BSc pure Mathematics from Egerton University.
