A human rights activist has revealed why ladies are being killed by men because of love.
Kisii Young Women Democrats leader Estus Nyaramba while speaking on Wednesday in Kisii town said young girls are being 'slaughtered' by their boyfriends because they have prioritized money instead of love.
"The country is witnessing an increased number of young girls being killed by men they are in love with because the ladies prefer money. If ladies won't change the habit of loving money we will continue witnessing more deaths," Nyaramba noted.
The activist challenged ladies especially those in colleges, universities and secondary schools to go slow in love matters.
She said ladies should stop rushing into love relationships before conducting thorough background information about the men they are loving.
"Parents need to wake up and ensure their children are counselled, guided in a life well. Ladies must know they are becoming a target by men and therefore, be cautious when loving men," Nyaramba argued.
She also maintained that students should stop engaging in love affairs while in school adding that love has also made some youths to commit suicide.
Her remarks come after Ivy Wangeci a medical student at Moi University was murdered in broad daylight by her alleged boyfriend.
