Deputy President Wiliam Ruto on Saturday donated Sh10 million to support in building Seventh Day Adventist Church South Kenya Conference offices.
According to Ruto, the project which has stalled for more than 18 years old should be completed immediately. During the event, the DP also hit out at his political competitors questioning his source of funds used for fundraising.
"The money should be used well to build the offices. I will not stop attending fund drives to offer what God has blessed me with. My rivals should consider keeping off because I have not borrowed the money from them," he stated.
He wondered why critics should be on his neck every time he attends fund drives.
"I won't stop helping where I can because of some few individuals questioning the source of my hard earned money. There is a need for leaders to be at the front line helping churches improve infrastructure," noted Ruto.
Ruto insisted that he is not corrupt saying his rivals are determined to spread propaganda about him purposely to get support from Kenyans.
"Power comes from people but, not propaganda. For those dwelling on falsehood they will be shocked when electorates will show them the door in 2022," added Ruto.
