The talented designer is privileged to dress many celebrities both locally and internationally.

He is conscious of his great role in dressing top celebrities but maintains that he does not allow that to enter his head.

"I am humbled to get a rare opportunity to dress a number of celebrities bearing in mind where my business is based, it's not easy," says Avido.

When asked about the biggest artiste he has ever dressed, the young designer mentioned the legendary Jamaican reggae artist Tarrus Riley.

Last year the 'Don't Come Back' hitmaker performed at a concert in a fully packed Kenyatta International Convention Center (KICC) in Nairobi where he was dressed by the Kibra-based designer.

"In 2018 when Tarrus Riley came to perform at a reggae show that was held at KICC I got a chance to dress him for the performance," he adds.

He has also dressed G-Money, Hon Kenneth Okoth, Naiboi, Octopizzo, Kellisa, Connie Nielsen (the Wonder Woman movie), Talia Oyando, Bankslave, Dollar Sign, Romain Virgo, Cecile, Chrismatin, Don Carlos, Chronixx, Fenna Give, MCA Tricky, Everton Blender and others.

Avido who is a third-year student in one of the colleges in the city says that his main aim is to make people believe that also good handmade clothes can come from Kibra.
