Bahati Mp Kimani Ngunjiri has defended himself for making utterances scolding President Uhuru Kenyatta that made him protest dressed in ‘washenzi’ written shirt claiming that nothing has been delivered by Jubilee government in the central region.
The Jubilee party vocal MP spoke to NTV Live on Thursday. He furiously replied to the section of central leaders who stood to defend Uhuru development record.
He held that he holds every right to air his views demanding for projects like any other leaders.
“People are doing demonstration against me and I don’t do national roads myself, it’s the national government, there are four dams 2013 where the president was supposed to do, the dams are not yet done, people are complaining to me,” Kimani said.
He also criticized section of central leaders, demanding that they stop reprimanding him on issues about development. He accused the leaders of unfairly targeting him asserting that even the western Kenya leaders have been opposing the national government and no one could raise similar attacks.
“When issues come from Mumias demonstrating because of the sugar cane, we gave them money and they were demonstrating and saying there is no development there, what is the problem with people from central when they demonstrate," posed Kimani.
