Human Rights cum political activist Boniface Mwangi has landed an international job.
He has been appointed the Ambassador of Africans Rising, an organisation working for dignity, peace and justice across African nations.
Breaking the news through his verified Twitter page, Boni as he is widely known, revealed that he was headed to Gambia for his very first assignment.
"I am excited to start my role as @AfricansRising's Ambassador. Heading to Gambia for my first assignment as Africans Rising Ambassador. I will be in Tanzania in early December. Nigeria and Ghana, see you mid-Dec. I promise to continue shining a light on suffering and injustice," posted activist Mwangi.
The city-based human rights activist has been in the forefront in condemning political injustices among other social ill perpetrated on the common citizens.
At the course of his roles as human rights crusader, Mwangi has severally found himself at the biting end of the Kenyan laws, ending up detained at a number of police cells within the city.
