At Kiabonyoru ward on Saturday, the MP revisited the corruption monster, indirectly accusing Deputy President William Ruto of plundering public resources.

Mr Keter wondered why 'he would plunder public resources and think that he will go to heaven with his illegally acquired wealth'.

"The problem we are facing in Kenya is that some people steal and think they will go to heaven with the money. I wonder if he thinks he will make it to heaven by stealing and contributing to churches," said Keter in reference to the DP.

He added: "I will not sit and watch such people stealing. That's why I am fighting for you. They may steal even from their own community but that will not last forever."

Keter has been at loggerheads with Ruto in recent years. He has often accused him of orchastrating maize farming crisis in North Rift for ages.

Mr Keter's lawyer and Nyamira Senator Okong'o Mogeni said the fight against corruption will go on as planned, adding that those against it should leave the country.

"We are determined to change this nation. There are some people claiming they are targeted in graft purge. My only advise to them is that they should find another country," he said.
