Embattled TV journalist Jacque Maribe has gone back to her job at the Royal Media Service’s Citizen TV.
Maribe heads back to work with a tag of murder after she was charged with the callous murder of Nairobi businesswoman Monica Kimani.
Maribe was charged alongside her lover Joseph Kuria Irungu alias Jowie.
According to the prosecution, Jowie is the chief suspect in the murder.
Maribe went back to Citizen where she will now be a news director.
“She will no longer anchor or report news. She will be directing,” a source at the station said.
Maribe was released from Lang’ata Women’s Prison by high court judge James Wakiaga on a Sh1 million bond.
She was however barred from journalistic duties that would touch on the case in any way.
Her co-accused Jowie is still behind bars as the prosecution convinced the court that his release would be a risk to witnesses.
