Hours after President Uhuru Kenyatta held secret meetings with opposition leader Raila Odinga and retired President Daniel Moi, a section of youths have lashed at the president.
On Thursday, Uhuru met Raila in Kilifi for a secret meeting and at Kabarak on Saturday, he held meeting with Moi in Ruto's absence.
Asection of youths from Nyamira have openly challenged Uhuru to declare his support for Ruto.
"It is really bad that Uhuru is openly undermining the president. He is arrogantly holding meetings without involving the DP," said Ben Mogaka.
Another youth leader Caleb Motari said: "He should now come in open and tell us who he supports. It's sad that he now overlooks a man who helps him clinch leaderleaderhs."
Jubilee party has been embroiled in rocky storms over the past months with Ruto's loyalists reading malice.
At Murang'a on Saturday, Ruto however downplayed divisions within the party.
