It is said that words are the most powerful things to a child. The child grows up believing what the parent has overtime been telling him or her. At that point, the words are ‘you are’ and can either make or break the child.
However, once you grow up, it is your responsibility to right the wrongs (if there are) that your parents did to you. It is then that you replace the ‘you are’ with ‘I am’ which are the most powerful words one can tell him or herself.
What comes after the words ‘I am’ determines what kind of life you live. You can fill it with negatives or either positives. The beauty about is that you don’t have to consciously speak the words. The words may be playing in your subconscious mind, which end up becoming physically manifest in your life.
The words may either become a hindrance or a pedestal towards your desired goal in life. If you say I am a loser, you definitely end up a loser and vice versa. Nature gives you what you are not what you want. Like attracts like, unlike the magnet. The words of affirmations become reinforced over time to a point where you don’t need to say them aloud or subconsciously. It becomes automatic, and you are no longer filled with self-doubts or feelings of inadequacy.
