Kenyans on Twitter are not happy with how Wajir East Member of Parliament Rashid Kassim treated residents from his constituency.
In a video that has gone viral online, a woman is seen trying to seek the attention of Kassim who was inside his car.
A man believed to be the MP’s bodyguard shoves her away then the MP disembarks from his Pajero trying to talk to a few of the residents who had gathered close to the vehicle in a bid to calm the situation.
After a few seconds, Kassim gets back into his car and slams the door as the bodyguards push the woman and another man who tried to assist the woman.
The bodyguards got into the car and drove off.
It is however not clear what led to the confrontation but KOT was not pleased with how the MP treated his constituents who wanted his attention.
Kenyans online said Kassim’s action was insensitive and disrespectful especially to the people who elected him.
