The photo was shared on the Machakos county fun & political bloggers forum by a user identified as Sultan Sultan, with members coming forth with their guns blazing.
The comments section was hilarious.
It, however, remains unclear when and who took the photo or whether someone used his Internet skills to ignite a debate targeting Mutua.
There were endless comments on social media after the photo went viral.
Some of his supporters said the picture was photoshopped while others reminded him what they expected from his leadership.
